Air ambulance called to road traffic collision

THE Air Ambulance was called to a road traffic collision at the Knock Road, Dervock, on Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 16:06 on Tuesday 29 January following reports of a 2 vehicle RTC on Knock Road, Dervock.

“NIAS despatched one Rapid Response Paramedic and an Emergency Crew to the scene.

“The Charity Air Ambulance HEMS crew was also dispatched to the incident.”

A PSNI spokesperson said one person was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which were not believed to be life threatening.
