THE Good Relations Team at Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council would like to invite you to the upcoming visits as part of their ‘Through the Looking Glass’ programme.

The programme provides participants with opportunities to explore places that make up the rich culture and diversity that exists in Northern Ireland.

On Monday 4th March participants will have the chance to explore the community allotment garden at the Old Mill in Cloughmills. As part of the Incredible Edibles project the tour at 1pm will focus on sustainability, nature and caring for the environment.

Following this, there will be a trip to the Hope Centre in Coleraine on Thursday 7th March. Beginning at 10am, those taking part will have an opportunity to learn about the local charity and the work they are involved in.

The aim of the charity is to support people ‘from crisis to full potential’ by providing practical support to the community and empowering them to tackle the underlying causes of poverty.

On Monday 25th March at 10am a visit to the FUSE Centre in Ballymoney will take place which will have a focus on Ulster Scots heritage, language and music.

The FUSE Centre is a hub for the Ulster Scots community and aims to develop and deliver language, education, literature and associated history and heritage projects to the local economy.

Places are limited and booking is essential. To secure your place please contact a member of staff of the Good Relations team by emailing goodrelations@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk or call 028 777 60312.
