THE award winning Ecos Centre are now accepting expressions of interest for a skilled caterer to run the cafe at the facility.
The centre has recently undergone a £1.6m renovation and refurbishment which will make it a location for a number of innovative companies.
Mid & East Antrim Borough Council say the significant work will provide an opportunity to establish the new cafe as a ‘go-to’ location for young families, dog owners and walkers in the local area.
The ground floor of the Ecos Centre is where the cafe space is located.
It can accommodate 68 people internally plus a significant offering of outside seating, a council spokesperson says.
The successful caterer would be expected to serve a range of high quality barista coffees, a selection of sandwiches/hot paninis and a simple hot food selection.
To ensure the successful operation of the facility, the need for a fully functional high quality catering facility is required to support the companies, employees and conferences that are held there.
The contract will run for three years with an option to extend by three 12-month periods, subject to review.
All submissions to arrive not later than Friday, March 8, 2019.
