A Broughshane man has been charged with having an offensive weapon at Antrim Area Hospital – a razor blade attached to a bank card.
Christopher Richard Tuff (37), of Whinsmoor Park, is alleged to have committed the offence in March last year.
He also faces a number of other charges including stealing a quad and a speaker system during a burglary at Raceview Terrace in Broughshane.
The defendant is further accused of having cannabis; having a pair of gloves for use in burglary; causing criminal damage to a quad bike; driving a quad bike whilst unlicensed and whilst uninsured.
He is also accused of driving whilst unfit and failing to provide a specimen.
The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on February 28 and was freed on his own bail of £500 with conditions that he is not to enter the Raceview area of Broughshane or Ballymena Golf Club.
The case was adjourned to March 28.
