Ahoghill band ‘very proud’ to receive recognition from mayor for covid lockdown voluntary work

AHOGHILL Loyal Sons of William Flute Band have said they are “very proud” to have received recognition for their voluntary work during the covid lockdown.

In a social media post, alongside an online photo of the handover, Ahoghill Loyal Sons of William Flute Band said: ‘Very proud moment for the band yesterday as our bandmaster was presented with a certificate in recognition of our voluntary work during the lockdown by the Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.”

The certificate was handed over in The Diamond area of Ahoghill by Mayor, Councillor Peter Johnston.
