Ambulance crews are called to filling station in Ballymena

Ambulances responded to call out to the filling station on Ballymena's Doury Road.

TWO ambulance crews responded to an emergency call at a filling station in Ballymena on Sunday afternoon.

A PSNI spokesman told ‘Ballymena Daily’: “Police received a report about a male who was outside business premises on Doury Road in Ballymena this afternoon (Sunday 24th November).

“Police attended the scene and the man was subsequently transferred into the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.”

An Ambulance Service spokesman told ‘Ballymena Daily’ they received a report of a “medical emergency” at the Maxol Filling Station and two crews attended and one patient was taken to Antrim Area Hospital.
