AS Ballymena and the BT43 area enter the second week of localised restrictions 3 new Covid cases have been reported in Mid & East Antrim in the last day.
7 new cases were recorded in the local district the previous day.
There were 125 new cases reported across Northern Ireland in the last day – down from the previous daily figure of 176.
There have been 814 cases in Mid & East Antrim out of 21,941 tests since the pandemic started.
The three new cases locally came from 159 tests.
There have been 799 cases in Antrim & Newtownabbey – a rise of 3 since yesterday – and 465 – up 3 – in Causeway Coast & Glens.
The total number of cases in Northern Ireland since the pandemic began is 9,466.
Out of the 125 new cases in Northern Ireland in the last day, Belfast had 26 followed by Newry, Mourne & Down with 25.
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon had 24 and Derry City & Strabane had 20.
Lisburn & Castlereagh each had 6 and Ards & North Down had and Fermanagh & Omagh each had 5.
Mid & East Antrim; Antrim & Newtownabbey; Causeway Coast & Glens and Mid Ulster each had 3 cases.
The locations of 2 cases were listed as ‘not known’.
The number of people who have died across Northern Ireland since the pandemic began, according to the Department of Health, is 577.
There were 2 deaths recorded over the weekend in the Newry, Mourne & Down area and the Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon area.
In Mid & East Antrim, since the pandemic started, the number of people who died is 46 according to Department of Health statistics.
The Health Department says there have been 61 deaths in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 39 in Causeway Coast and Glens.
