Ballymena Court hears ‘liberty is at risk’ after man admits being concerned in supply of cannabis

A MAN has pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Lee Anthony Thompson (41), with an address listed as Brookfield Gardens in Ahoghill, has also admitted possessing cannabis and lyrica.

The possession charges relate to January 17 this year and the ‘supply’ charge relates to January.

A defence lawyer said the defendant had a “significant drug history” and is in breach of a suspended sentence and “his liberty is very much at risk”.

The case was adjourned to October.
