Ballymena Court hears man admits supplying Ecstasy

A MAN has admitted supplying the Class A drug Ecstasy, Ballymena Magistrates Court was told.

Alexander John Coid (20) also admitted having offensive weapons – a lock knife and baseball bat – in the Raceview Road area of Broughshane.

The supply charge relates to dates between June 30 and October 20 last year.

The other charges relate to October 23, 2020.

The defendant has also pleaded guilty to possession of Ecstasy; possession of Ecstasy with intent to supply; possession of ketamine; and possession of fireworks without a licence.

The defendant, with an address in Newtownabbey, had the case adjourned to May for a pre-sentence report.
