Ballymena Court: Man admits possessing cannabis with intent to supply

A MAN has admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

He also has also pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon – described on the charge sheet as a Stanley Knife – in a public place, Ballymena’s Woodside Road.

Samuel John Stewart (34), with an address listed on the charge sheet as Staffa Drive, Ballymena – but now said to be living elsewhere outside the district – appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

The charges, which also include possession of cannabis and diazepam, relate to December last year.

The case was adjourned to November for a pre-sentence report.
