Ballymena Court: Man admits stealing tee-shirt from Sports Direct

A MAN has admitted stealing a tee-shirt worth £13 from Sports Direct.

Conor McGill (28), with an address given as Ballymoney Road in Ballymena, committed the theft on July 2 this year.

He also admits stealing food worth £30 from ‘Iceland’ in Ballymena on September 4 last year.

The Iceland offence had happened on the defendant’s birthday when he had placed items in a binliner and only paid for sausages at the till.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court this week the cases were adjourned to October for a pre-sentence report.
