Ballymena Court: Man is charged with possessing morphine tablets with intent to supply

A MAN is charged with possessing morphine tablets with intent to supply.

George Alexander Wright (48), with an address listed as Chichester Park West in Ballymena, is also accused of possession of morphine tablets; possession of criminal property and possession of cannabis, according to the charge sheet.

The charges relate to October 24 last year.

The case was marked as a ‘1st appearance’ at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where a police officer said he believed he could connect the accuse to the charges.

A prosecutor said there were “two other reported persons” on the file.

The case was adjourned to November.
