Ballymena Court: Man is due to be sentenced for possessing amphetamine

A MAN due to have been sentenced for possessing amphetamine has had his case adjourned to November 26.

Jaroslav Cabala (29), with an address listed as Alexander Park in Ballymena, is charged in relation to June 8 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The court heard the defendant is currently in custody on other charges.

Those charges relate to an alleged ‘meth’ lab in the Ladysmith Terrace area of Ballymena.

Defence barrister Stephen Law said a bail application is due to be made regarding that matter.
