Ballymena Court: Teenager admits stealing charity box belonging to ‘Asthma Action’

A TEENAGER has pleaded guilty to stealing a charity box belonging to ‘Asthma Action’.

Adam Cooper (18), with an address listed as Rosses Farm in Ballymena, committed the offence on July 29 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court sitting in Antrim where the defence solicitor Stewart Ballentine linked in over the internet from his office.

The court heard the defendant has “mental health issues”.

The case was adjourned to October for a pre-sentence report.
