Ballymena Court today: Man is charged with sending message ‘for purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety’

A MAN is accused of improper use of public communications by sending a message he allegedly knew to be false for the ‘purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety’.

Rafal Krzysztof Magier (33), with an address at Main Street, Portglenone, is charged in connection with August 17 this year.

On the same date he is also alleged to have assaulted a police officer.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday the case was adjourned to October.
