BMX biking, skateboarding and stunt scooters are just some of the activities which are sure to have the crowds flocking to Ballymena’s People’s Park this Sunday (June 9).
On from 2pm-6pm it is billed as the ‘Ballymena Action Sports Extravaganza’.
The Mid & East Antrim Borough Council web page says: ‘We’re hosting an Action Sports Extravaganza event in People’s Park in Ballymena to celebrate the diverse and inclusive Action Sports Culture that exists in Northern Ireland.
‘A fantastic range of activities will be available to try out free of charge for all who wish to get involved in something new and exciting this summer 2019!
‘Come and try BMX biking, Skateboarding, Stunt Scooters, Breakdance, Graffiti Art & Parkour with the very best instructors & Athletes in the country.
‘Activities suitable for those 6years old +
‘No booking necessary and all equipment is provided.
‘This event is the finale of a community relations programme we have just delivered in the area with a fantastic group of young people who have embraced the Action sports Culture and lifestyle. This group now have a huge range of skills and enthusiasm to share with the local community so we hope you can all make it to the event!
