Convenanter trip is welcomed to Ballymena by Deputy Mayor Beth Adger

A Covenanter trip was welcomed to Mid and East Antrim recently as part of their annual trip, now in its 20th year.

Deputy Mayor, Councillor Beth Adger, met with the group on their arrival at The Braid in Ballymena.

This year marks the first time that the trip has been centered around Ballymena, rather than in Scotland.

The visit included a visit to Mid-Antrim and Six Mile Water as well as a talk and tour of the Braid.

The programme for the day was developed by Mervyn Storey, on behalf of the Ballymoney Christian School.
