RESIDENTS throughout Mid and East Antrim have eight weeks to share their views and input into Council’s proposed Local Development plan.
The Draft Plan Strategy opens for formal public consultation on Wednesday 16 October 2019 and it sets out a vision for how Mid and East Antrim will develop through to 2030.
Its purpose now is to get the public’s views so that Mid and East Antrim Borough Council can shape and develop a planning framework that will be used in determining planning decisions.
It’s about creating a borough that supports economic growth and innovation, infrastructure, the right mix of housing, schools and more.
However, none of this can be done in isolation and as a Borough a strong and effective plan is needed to guide future development in Mid and East Antrim over the next 10 years.
Residents, community groups, developers and statutory partners have eight weeks to share their feedback beginning on Wednesday 16 October and closing at 5pm on Wednesday 11 December 2019.
