COUNCIL chiefs have unveiled a street billboard campaign … which they hope you don’t see.
That’s because the huge ads appearing in town centres in the Mid & East Antrim Borough area are advising people to stay at home during the coronavirus pandemic.
However, people are allowed out during the lockdown for essential journeys like trips to get groceries and to take exercise.
With that in mind the Council is aware a number of people will notice the adverts but they would prefer it if no one was out to see them.
A spokesperson said: “Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is committed to keeping our residents safe during this time.
“We hope you are #safeathome and haven’t seen our billboard advertising, but we want you to know that we are still here for you should you need us.”
