COUNCILLORS have welcomed the completion of public realm work at Greenvale Street in Ballymena town centre ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
The total cost of the project was £632,000.
Work had been completed before the end of November as planned.
Councillors were pleased that a Seven Towers crest was incorporated into the scheme.
The Department for Communities provided £560,000 of the £632,000 scheme with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council contributing £72,000.
