Court in Ballymena hears man has made ‘full admissions’ to dishonestly handling 41 ‘stolen’ GAA and soccer shirts

A MAN has made “full admissions” according to a defence lawyer, regarding a number of offences including dishonestly handling 21 ‘stolen’ GAA tops and 20 stolen soccer shirts.

Pearce McCullough (38) is charged in relation to October 2 this year.

He is also charged with stealing three jackets worth £210 from DV8 in Ballymoney; stealing 13 T-shirts worth £380 from JD Sports in Coleraine; razors and aftershave worth £160 from Superdrug and cosmetics of unknown value from Boots in Belfast.

The defendant, from Good Shepherd Court in Poleglass near Belfast, had the matter mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on November 2.

It was adjourned to November 23.
