A MAN has admitted being disorderly and causing criminal damage to a perspex screen at a Chinese takeaway in Randalstown.

Shane O’Boyle (43), of The Oaks in Randalstown, committed offences on October 3 last year.

Antrim Magistrates Court, sitting in Ballymena on Tuesday, heard it cost £500 to repair the damage at Imperial City takeaway on New Street.

District Judge Nigel Broderick noted the defendant had a “poor record” and he asked a pre-sentence report.

The case was adjourned to April.
