A CASE at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday was adjourned when a defence solicitor said his client was not present as he had been advised by his GP to “self-isolate” because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Deputy District Judge Brian Archer said: “I think we are going to see a lot more of these types of application”.
In another case when a man failed to attend court in connection with charges he faces a prosecutor said that due to the ongoing coronavirus situation they would take no action but adjourned the case for a week.
