A DRIVER who only passed their test five weeks ago was caught doing 101mph on one of north Antrim’s busiest roads on Friday the 13th.

A ‘Police Causeway Coast & Glens’ Facebook page post said: ‘On Friday night, 13/03/20, Con Harvey detected an ‘R’ driver (who had passed their test 5 weeks prior) driving on the new Frocess Road dual- carriageway near Ballymoney.

‘As you can see by the reading it was more than double the legal 45mph!

‘We will continue to monitor speeds on this stretch of carriageway and where necessary report offenders to the courts’.
