Emergency services called to scene after vehicle crashes into shop front

Emergency services were called to the scene of an incident at a shopping complex on Sunday morning when a car went through a shop window.

The incident happened in the Milltown area of Ballymoney.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the Milltown Road in Ballymoney at around 11.40am this morning, Sunday 11 August.

“The female driver of the car was treated at the scene by Ambulance staff and did not require hospital treatment. Police enquiries are continuing”.

It is believed to have been an accident.
