Exhibition marks 65th anniversary of motor club

AN exhibition to mark the 65th anniversary of Larne Motor Club has been launched at Larne Museum.

Formed in 1954, the Club’s first event took place the following year with their first national event being staged in 1974 at Boyd’s Quarry.

Many famous people have competed in club events including Barry McGuigan and Kenny McKinstry.

The club promotes motorsports at all levels.

The exhibition will be on display from Monday 27 January until Thursday 27 February 2020 and includes Saturday opening on Saturday 8 February.
