Flowers are left near the Traveller’s Rest in tribute to B&B owner Inayat Shah

FLOWERS have been left close to the Traveller’s Rest B&B in Ballymena in tribute to owner Inayat Shah (67) who was killed in a brutal stabbing incident at the weekend.

On Tuesday morning police remained at the scene and an area at Galgorm Road was still cordoned off.

A man appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murdering Mr Shah.

Hundreds of tributes have been paid to Mr Shah on social media.
