Following police operation in Ballymena a man (29) has been charged with ‘production of a Class A drug’

FOLLOWING a police operation in the Ballymena area, a 29-year-old man has been charged with a number of drug-related offences and is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 26th October).

The man has been charged with being concerned in production of a Class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug; possession of a Class A drug controlled drug and possession of a Class B drug controlled drug,

A PSNI spokesperson told ‘Ballymena Daily’: “As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”

It is understood the charges are in relation to a police operation in the Ladysmith Terrace area of Ballymena on Saturday.
