Former north Antrim DUP councillor has passed away

A FORMER DUP councillor in north Antrim has passed away.

Robert Halliday sat on the former Ballymoney Borough Council for a number of years and he was a frequent contributor to debates in the chamber at Riada House in the town.

ROBERT TOWNSEND HALLIDAY

Halliday: 25th October 2019 (peacefully) at his home, 42 Bann Road, Ballymoney, Robert Townsend, dearly beloved husband of Mamie, much loved father of Arlene, William, Anne, Thomas, Elaine, Philip and Noel and a dear father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.

Service of Thanksgiving in Hebron Free Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 3pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Hebron Free Presbyterian Church (Missionary Work) c/o James McMullan and Son, 22 High Street, Ballymoney BT53 6AQ.
