FOUR more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Mid & East Antrim.
The total number of cases in the borough since the pandemic began is 305.
The Department of Health statistics were issued on Monday.
There are different statistics relating to the number of deaths regarding coronavirus with the Department of Health figure saying there have been 39 deaths in the borough and NISRA (Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency) figures – which are published weekly on Fridays – putting the borough’s Covid-related death toll at 43.
The NISRA stats show there were 652 deaths related to pandemic across Northern Ireland and the Department of Health’s current figure is 514 with eight deaths being recorded in the last 24 hours.
There have been 382 cases of people testing positive for coronavirus in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 213 in the Causeway Coast and Glens area since the start of the pandemic.
Across Northern Ireland, it was revealed on Monday, there have been 39 new cases of people testing positive to bring the total number of positive cases since the start of the crisis to 4,609.
