THERE were 3 new cases of coronavirus reported in Mid & East Antrim in the last day.
There were 88 new cases reported across Northern Ireland up from the previous daily figure of 78.
There have been 746 cases in Mid & East Antrim out of 19,547 people tested in the area since the pandemic started.
There have been 709 cases in Antrim & Newtownabbey – a rise of 13 since yesterday – and 442 – up 1 – in Causeway Coast & Glens.
The total number of cases in Northern Ireland since the pandemic began is 8,123.
Out of the 88 new cases in Northern Ireland in the last day, Belfast had 28 followed by Antrim & Newtownabbey with 13.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon had 12 and Lisburn & Castlereagh had 9.
Newry, Mourne & Down and Derry City & Strabane each had 5.
The location of 4 cases were given as ‘not known’ and Ards & North Down also had 4 cases.
Mid & East Antrim had 3 cases and Mid Ulster and Fermanagh & Omagh each had 2. Causeway Coast & Glens had 1 case.
The number of people who have died across Northern Ireland since the pandemic began, according to the Department of Health is 568.
In Mid & East Antrim, since the pandemic started, the number of people who died is 46 according to Department of Health statistics.
The Health Department says there have been 61 deaths in Antrim and Newtownabbey and 39 in Causeway Coast and Glens.
