Guilty plea in connection with speeding offence at Ballymena’s Cullybackey Road

A MAN has pleaded guilty to speeding at Ballymena’s Cullybackey Road.

Richard Lawson, whose age was not given on court papers, had the offence detected on September 13 last year.

The defendant, from McNeill Park, Moorfields, had the case mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court, sitting in Antrim, on Thursday.

The court heard a guilty plea was entered via post.

A prosecutor said the defendant was observed doing 60mph in a 30mph zone in a Seat Leon.

The case was adjourned to September for the defendant to have his licence in court.
