HUNDREDS of former Wrightbus workers took part in a two mile protest march on Friday from Ballymena town centre to the gates of the factory at Galgorm.

Banners included the words: ‘Save Our Jobs, Save Our Town’.

The workers were joined by Harland and Wolff workers.

Steve Turner, Unite’s Assistant General Secretary, told Friday’s rally the union would “leave no stone unturned in the fight to get those gates open”.
