MOSSIDE Independent Orange Lodge has installed a defibrillator for community use.

The potentially life-saving equipment is positioned outside Mosside Independent Orange Hall, 5 Knockmore Road, Mosside, and can be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A spokesperson said: “Whilst we hope that the equipment is never required it is reassuring to know that it is available in case of an emergency.”

The defibrillator was part funded by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) through the Rural Micro Capital Grant Programme 2019.

The Cabinet was purchased by Mossside Independent Lodge NO.25 and Band Club.

Mosside Independent Lodge No.25 and Band club wish to thank DAERA for helping to fund the equipment.
