Man accused of attempted murder in Clough has case sent to Crown Court

A MAN accused of the attempted murder of a man in Clough has been further remanded in custody and the case sent to Antrim Crown Court.

Jonathan Reeves (51), with an address listed as Coronation Crescent in Clough, is charged in relation to March 5 this year.

Regarding the same date he is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon – a hatchet – with intent to commit murder; aggravated entry to a building with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm with a hatchet and criminal damage to a door.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court the case was further adjourned to Antrim Crown Court in November.
