Man accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis has case mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court

A MAN is accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Stephen Purdy (34), with an address listed as Hazelwood Drive in Craigywarren, is charged in relation to dates between May 16 and July 20 this year.

He is also accused of possessing cannabis on July 20 and possessing a lock knife in a public place – Ballymena’s Toome Road – on the same date.

A co-accused – Ian Greer (34) with an address listed as Queen Street in Ballymena – is accused of possessing cannabis on July 20.

The cases were mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court, sitting in Antrim, on Thursday and adjourned to September.
