Man airlifted to hospital following ‘bull attack’ in Broughshane area

A MAN has been hospitalised following a ‘bull attack’ on the Knockan Road, Broughshane.

The incident happened around 1pm this afternoon.

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) sent one Emergency crew and one Rapid Response Paramedic to the scene.

The charity Air Ambulance was also tasked to the incident.

A NIAS spokesperson said “Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.”
