Man charged following petrol bomb attack in Ballymena

Detectives investigating a report of a petrol bomb being thrown at a property in the Lewis Park area of Ballymena on Sunday 16th June have charged a man with a number of offences.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage, attempted arson endangering life, possessing a petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances and a number of motoring offences.

He is expected to appear before Antrim Magistrates Court tomorrow, Tuesday 02 July.

The man was arrested in the Antrim area earlier today.
