A 25 year old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and three counts of criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court via videolink on Monday 17th August.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, a PSNI spokesperson said.
The charges are in relation to a stabbing incident which occurred at the harbour end of the West Strand Beach area of Portrush on Saturday 15th August.
One man was treated for injuries to his arm that are not believed to be life threatening.
A 20 year old woman also arrested in relation to the incident has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
