Man charged with aggravated burglary following incident in Antrim

POLICE investigating an incident at a property in the Rathglynn area of Antrim on 23rd October have charged an 18-year-old man to appear before Antrim Magistrates’ Court on 17th November.

The man has been charged with the offences of aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.

As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, a PSNI spokesperson said.

Police said a 31 year-old man arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and criminal damage in connection with the incident has been released to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
