Man is accused of possessing a knife in a public area in Ballymena

A MAN is accused of possessing a knife and being disorderly in a public place – Ballymena’s Carndale Meadows.

Lee Wright (25), with an address listed as Carniny Road, Ballymena, is charged in connection with May 26 this year.

On the same date the defendant is also accused of causing criminal damage to a window and possession of cannabis.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court, where the defence barrister was Michael Smyth, the case was adjourned to October.
