Man is charged in relation to alleged incident at shop in Ballymena town centre

A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged incident at Halfords store in Ballymena.

Keith Balmer (27), with an address listed as Dunclug Gardens in the town, is charged in relation to August 5 this year.

He is accused of assaulting two males; causing criminal damage to two signs belonging to Halfords; attempted criminal damage of a door at the store; theft of a £4 air freshener and attempted theft of a dashcam mount.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court, where the defence barrister was Stephen Law, the case was adjourned to September 23.
