A MAN is accused of carrying, what is described on the charge sheet as, an ‘imitation firearm’ in a public place – Ballymena’s Greenmount Terrace.
Marcin Pawel Fialek (30), is also charged with possessing a knife at Greenmount Terrace on the same date – July 10 this year – the day after his birthday.
At Ballymena Magistrates Court, a prosecutor said the file has now been received from police by the Public Prosecution Service and she asked for a further adjournment of four weeks.
Defence barrister Stephen Law said he hoped “substantive progression” could be made in moving the case forward.
The matter was adjourned to October 29.
