A Cullybackey man was allegedly caught speeding twice on the road between the village and Ballymena which a defence solicitor said was “unfortunate luck”.
The charge sheet lists the excess speed allegations as occurring on the same day – January 21 this year.
The lawyer, however, said one case was a 37 in a 30 on one day and the other 39 in a 30 on another day.
The defendant is Richard Wylie (33), of Ambleside.
The case at Ballymena Magistrates Court was adjourned to September to get the defendant’s attitude to the charges.
