Man who was accused of assaulting a police officer and being disorderly in Thomas Street area of Ballymena has charges withdrawn for a caution

A MAN who had been accused of being disorderly in Ballymena town centre – in the vicinity of Thomas Street – and assaulting a police officer has had the charges withdrawn for a caution.

Peter Mulholland (32), of Glenariff Crescent, Ballymena, had been charged in relation to August 15 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court where the defence solicitor was John McAtamney.
