Minister is set to hear of area’s ‘economic challenges’

MINISTER of State for Northern Ireland Nick Hurd is to visit Mid & East Antrim during the next month.

The Council’s Chief Executive Anne Donaghy said it would give the Council an opportunity to put “some of our economic challenges” and Brexit preparations to the Minister.

Ms Donaghy said Mr Hurd had requested to see a number of businesses in the area and also wants to visit the Port of Larne.
