A MAN caught driving a Volkswagen Golf at 103mph on the Frosses Road on July 19 this year has been banned from driving for a month and fined £200.
Paul McKay (54), of Corbally Park in Antrim, had the case mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
He had exceeded a 70mph limit.
Defence barrister Neil Moore said the defendant had “no excuse” for the speed.
The lawyer said the defendant had been driving without incident for 37 years.
