The Friends of Antrim Castle Gardens have received a £60,000 funding boost from the National Lottery.
The three-year Gardening for All project is improving health and well being and reducing isolation and loneliness for adults and older people in the Antrim area.
The members are all volunteers.
The project is using the £63,400 grant to provide structured group and informal drop-in sessions for existing and new members.
Sessions bring people together while taking part in activities including vegetable growing, garden design and craft activities.
There are also opportunities for volunteering at community events in the gardens, hosting tours, and attending external events such as craft fairs. Horticulturists are running the sessions and supporting the volunteers.
