Northern Trust confirms old Ballymena Health Centre is being demolished to make way for parking

The old health centre building is being tumbled.

HEALTH chiefs have confirmed to ‘Ballymena Daily’ the old Health Centre building in Ballymena is being demolished to make way for more parking.

A Northern Health and Social Care Trust spokesperson said: “Ballymena Health Centre is being demolished to increase car parking spaces which will ease parking pressures on the Braid Valley Hospital site.

“It is anticipated that this project will be completed by June 2021.”

The old Health Centre was replaced by the new Ballymena Health and Care Centre a few hundred metres away.
