Peter is named Student Union Officer of the Year at Northern Regional College

Peter Kerr, current Student Vice President at Northern Regional College’s Ballymena campus, has been recognised for his hard work and commitment to improving student experience at the College.

Peter was awarded the accolade of Student Union Officer of the Year at the College’s Student Awards hosted at the Farm Lodge campus.

Peter, who previously attended St Benedict’s in Randalstown, is currently undertaking a Level 3 Diploma in Public Service.

Peter, who hopes to progress to study Policing or Criminology at university decided to undertake the course as a stepping stone to further career options and says he enjoys studying the broader base of related subjects which are available at Level 3 in the College, as opposed to more restrictive A-Levels.
